On khou.com, they just published an article about there not being a fuel crisis. I'm on my cell phone so I can't post the link. At least that is what the Texas Rail Commissioner is saying.

He says no fuel crisis? When people can not get gas to hit the road and run from a hurricane that is a crisis to me!

Then he goes on and states their is fuel shortage. Yes, I agree, there is plenty of gas in the United States, you just got to get the gas to the areas that devastated by the hurricane or we victimized hurricane people will be all lining up are cars in lines that go around the corner to fill up our tank at the gas station when we are back on our feet.

Well, the lines of gas reaching around the corners is happening today in Dallas. Follow Meg Wagner on Twitter. She works for CNN and put out a video on the cars lining up to get gas in Dallas. It is happening today.

The dude that works at the gas station told the CNN reporter that he seen 1000 cars come through the gas station in 2 hours!

Hopefully, it will not get that bad in Houston. It is just a logistical problem. Plenty of gas in Texas, just got to get it to the gas stations in Houston.

Tell that to the 20 or so (gas-less) gas stations I drove past today that are completely accessible by the main roads.... this problem is a sticky one, albeit a short-lived one.

The sensationalist news media reported that there would be a gas shortage due to the flooding in Houston. The fucktards in Dallas came out in droves to buy gas thus causing long lines and a shortage of fuel.

I was on gasbuddy but the last entries are from hours ago. How can you tell if a station has gas now? I have never actually used the app before so I don't now if there is something I am missing.

No fuel near the Irish Chihuahua Refuge in upper Montgomery County, either. Still have half a tank, taking a gas can with me and going in search later. Need some for my chainsaw, too, as I have a damaged tree that has to come down before it hits the house. Know a couple of ladies who've had to decline outcalls as their cars are nearly on E and no stations selling in their areas. Grin and bear it is all we can do right now.

Yea I am sitting on half a tank too. I am avoiding going anywhere, I don't wanna use it and then an emergency comes up. I am hoping the gas situation improves after the labor day weekend.

I think I am just gonna call the place across the street and ask them if they know when they are gonna refuel. I am just gonna sit here and Netflix and chill til then.

Found some at a Valero on Conroe's East Loop 336 tonight, thank you! LOOOOONG and dangerous bumper-car line, lots of patience required, but I'm good for a few days.

Pretty sure if the last transaction is more than a few hours old, they don't have gas.

Also...most stations are getting filled during the night. So beat the morning crowd.
