Ladies - tis the season to file taxes la la la la la la la la la
:-) In all seriousness just an informative article for those who want to claim tax deductions. He's not promoting just being informative.
9 Tax Deductions That You Can Claim
Quote:
Note: The IRS really doesn’t care what it is that you do for a living as long as they get their cut
|
1.) Advertising Fees
I'm not sure it costs you anything here but on other sites it just might.
2.) Hotels
f you’re not working on a street corner, in the back of a car, or in a bathroom stall nearby, you might spring for anything from the local motel to the Ritz. If it’s rented just for you to meet clients and perform your job, guess what, it’s coming off the taxes baby!
3.) Cell Phone
If you have a phone number that you maintain just for clients, guess what, it’s a business expense too. Just don’t use it as your regular phone and you should be fine.
4.) Transportation Fees
It doesn’t matter if you fly somewhere to meet them, if you have a car service pick you up, or if you take the bus. Transportation is transportation...
5.) Bail Money and Legal Representation
If you’re in a place where prostitution isn’t legal, you might want to add up the cost of bail if you eventually get caught. Add to that the cost of your lawyer if you’re not using a public defender or taking a plea deal.
6.) Professional Management Fees
Do you have a “Talent Agent”. If you’re going to be handing someone 50% of what you make then you should at least deduct those fees and issue that bad boy a 1099. While we’re at it keep in mind real Talent Agents only charge 15%, so get rid of the pimp and keep your money.
7.) Work Clothes
Assuming you wouldn't be wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I’m going to guess that you need to specifically purchase some street walker gear just for this job, so let’s deduct those clothes. …especially the hooker shoes. High priced girls, if you’re going to special events with your clients, you get to deduct those ball gowns.
8.) Condoms
Ah, well, I don’t know what to say about this one, but it’s a tool of the trade, or at least it should be, so let’s just leave it at that.
9.) Medical Dues
Can only deduct this one if it exceeds 7.5% of your adjusted gross income...
Will need to add a 10th one.
10.) someone mentioned in the comments section that if you have a second bedroom just for client use then there’s your home office deduction. Lol

OK.
I understand the filling income tax part.
Although I wonder how escorts pay into Social Security for the future.

I've been filing under the entertainment code for 7 years now (since I became "Fancy"), if nothing else than to establish work and credit histories and keep the IRS off my back. (I'd rather be the one on my back, thanks. )
I deduct EVERYTHING at my incall apartment, rent, utilities, cable, furnishings, decor, renter's insurance, the booze on my bar, snacks, toiletries, makeup, the plants on my scenic patio, my phone and its bill, the computer, Internet, printer, camera, office supplies, and miscellaneous supplies like lube, toys, covers, etc. If I paid someone to clean it, I could deduct that, as well, but I do my own French maid work. (Even have the outfit. ) It IS my place of employment. I also take off (literally and figuratively) lingerie, heels, AND my considerable collection of costumes since I do the Renaissance tours. I track and deduct mileage for said tours and for outcalls, and keep receipts for parking. I send the government quarterly self employment payments, and yes, pay into Social Security.
Yes, I deduct the cost of ads on Eros and BP, and ladies, you can deduct P411, too. Those points you use to pay for ads there convert at $1 each. Don't forget, those of you who have professional photos taken, to deduct that cost, too, plus the monthly or yearly bill for maintaining your personal website, and the cost of your domain name.
My taxes are a bitch, however. I lock myself in a room for two days with a box of receipts, my checkbook, and Turbo Tax and growl like a cranky chihuahua at anyone who dares interrupt. I HATE the paperwork, and I never get any money back.

^ Holy mother of chihuahuas Fancy. Do you deduct orgasms as well. Lol
You are one brilliant business woman. I bet you have a nice planning excel spreadsheet with pivots, formulas, and macros. I wish I could deduct escorts as medical treatment. Lol.

The Feds eventually took Al Capone down on tax evasion. It's all they could get him on.

Quote:
A veteran New York tax lawyer has lost his legal battle to claim tax deductions for more than $100,000 he spent on prostitutes and pornography. William G. Halby, a tax lawyer first claimed the deductions as medical expenses. His visits to prostitutes and his purchases of books and magazines constituted sex therapy, he contended. Over two years, he claimed deductions for $108,086 spent on prostitutes and $7,373 on books, magazines, videos and pornographic materials.
At least it can be said that Halby was meticulous in claiming these deductions. The Tax Court said that he kept track of his visits to prostitutes in a journal. "The journal included the date, the name of the 'service provider,' and the amount." He did not, however, ask the "service providers" for receipts.
Not only did Halby lose the deduction and have to make up some $21,000 in tax deficiencies, but he was also ordered to pay a penalty of $4,298 for claiming deductions without any reasonable basis in the tax law. As an attorney who specialized in tax law for more than 40 years, the court said, Halby "should have known that his visits to prostitutes in New York were illegal and that section 213 [of the tax code], the regulations thereunder, and caselaw do not support his claimed deductions."*

The basis would be medical necessity as prescribed by your doc.
There are now LMTs getting certified in medical massage. I'm sure you could find one of your liking and with a little Bruno Mars impersonating, dapper dressing and that Zanzi charm you could easily get her to give up a little bit of the pussy or at least a blow job.

In reality-- most clothes that most ladies would wear in a session are NOT tax deductible, neither are hair, nails, or makeup. There is what the IRS calls the "housewife rule".. meaning, if a housewife would buy it for personal use, it isn't deductible. Implants of 1000CC or higher are deductible, but most plastic surgery is not-- unless it is to correct a medically diagnosed defect. DANCERS can deduct the cost of shoes and mandatory gowns if their clubs require it if they can PROVE that they do not use those items outside of the club. However, escorts have a harder time getting granted that exemption.
Another thing NOT deductible under the housewife rule? Condoms. Yeah.. you can deduct it and as long as you don't get an audit you'll be fine.. but it will get thrown out in the event of an audit.
