I just logged in for the first time in a few days to post an ad, and you're kidding, right? Providers are no longer allowed to post rates? What happened to this being the only forum where the ladies COULD get our information out without worry of censorship? How does this help legally protect ANYTHING when everyone knows this is an escort board? Okay, I see where there will also be no inclusions of specific services allowed, but if ladies are just selling time, why NOT post rates? If what a lady offers is no longer allowed to be advertised, how can reviews continue to list the services experienced, or has that changed, too?

Right now I am just so downright confused, frustrated, shocked, and angry that I can barely type. Forgive me for being uncharacteristically impolite, but his is the last thing I expected from this board, turning wuss like.........GASP, the Backpage!

I need some links, please, to posts explaining what the heck happened while I wasn't looking. And how are we supposed to advertise ECCIE member-only discounts from now on? Put that on a website and everybody will want it. Thanks.

Exactly.

Provider Ads are viewable by anyone, regardless of age. Websites are under increased scrutiny and ECCIE has acted in the best interests of all members, IMO.

For rate information, providers are welcome to provide links to:

1. your website
2. your Showcase (only viewable by premium members)
3. your p411 profile page

Providers can also place links to their reviews. members can put rates in the reviews as always.

This is going to make things tons more difficult and time-consuming for everyone, and I appreciate all the extra work that the mods have had with editing recent ads, including mine, that didn't conform. Of course I'll follow the new guidelines, but I believe that there is no reason to have gone this far. If specific services are no longer allowed to be advertised, the point of disallowing rates is moot, as setting a price for time is legal in any industry. (Ya know, some escorts actually do have clients who just engage them for non-sexual companionship and/or accompaniment to a social event/obligation. I know, I know, that fact should be in Ripley's Believe It or Not.) As I stated, it is impractical to offer an ECCIE-only discount on a more public website, so no, we can't exactly say what we want and still get our point across or give a special break to the members of this private forum.

May I please suggest an addition to the Showcases? Perhaps a line allowing a "weekly special?"

Please do not put them in the Showcase. There are a lot of regulars here (myself included) who do not maintain PA. We're going to have to find the info elsewhere. P411 is OK. I suppose BP is, too, but I don't shop there.

Since you're Irish, I'll suggest a dartboard. Let everyone know (maybe in your signature) that every verified ECCIE member will get one-shot at the dartboard. Whatever s/he hits, it the discount percentage. And you can label each ring with a different number using whiteout and black paint.

And there's the crux of it: more gentlemen are going to have to sign up and pay for PA, or spend a lot more time contacting providers for what should be advertised information. Wasn't that one of the most common complaints, providers who made you search for their rates?

Ah, well, the world runs as it will, not as we would have it, and we have to adjust with the pains of change or stay dusty on a shelf, I suppose. Why must everything be so danged complicated?

I for one am very happy with the change. I have never posted my rates in my ad anyways, I had always thought it was too risky.
