You do realize that married couples have met due to the hobby. More often than not you are right however both providers and hobbyists blur the line.

Now, I have to lend a "working girl's" perspective to this. In my experience, there are many motivations for why men call carnal companions, and to borrow a facetious word you often use, dear OP, "fooking" is just one reason.

I've been lucky enough to entertain, and still see, some very intelligent and successful gentlemen, and I have a lot of respect and admiration for most, and genuine affection for a few special fellows, with whom I maintain friendly contact even when not in the bedroom.

The ones I DIDN'T hold in high regard, both in the Hobby and in the Real World and notwithstanding what they had accumulated in cash, castles, cabin cruisers, or Cadillacs, were those who were arrogant, mean, deceitful, and egocentric users with little thought for anyone else. Doesn't mean I refused their money from P4P or "regular" employment, but I went in with eyes open and an understanding of my "place."

I've had marriage proposals in the Hobby, and was pretty close to accepting the offer of a very kind, gentle, shy widower a wee bit older than myself who was willing to embrace my chihuahuas, too, when he died unexpectedly. I still smile and think of him fondly, look at photos of our travel adventures, and remember the wonderful times we had together. I miss him.

Can't speak for other ladies and how they've perceived their clients (although I doubt my conception is that unusual), and despite earning a living solely at providing/escorting for a decade, my cherished callers have never been just "tricks" to make a buck off of, but real people with emotions, needs, and wants that I've tried to satisfy in whatever way they've needed me to at the time. That isn't therapeutic?
