This might rub some the wrong way but that's what I feel some Conservative folk do with the Bible and the US Constitution- they cherry pick it.

Yep, that's exactly what some people do, have done, will continue on doing as long as segments of "civilized" humanity find it comfortably convenient wearing blinders to dissenting views. Might stop about the time the Sun goes nova or becomes a gravity-sucking black hole.

In other words, the eternal argument will end with either a bang or a blow job, just as we resolve disagreements now; with somebody getting bent over!
