I've had impromptu lunches and dinners with gentlemen as precursors to sessions or following to recoup all that energy we lost (and that extra time I decide to spend with a fellow is gratis), and I offer an actual preplanned clock-free dinner date package which involves getting Fancy in heels and dress, a nice restaurant, and perhaps a show, concert, event, or drinks at a club afterward. I'm a lucky Irish lassie to get taken out for meals on a fairly frequent basis here in Houston and when I travel. (I must look malnourished. ) I've been reviewed on such dates, overnights, and even weekends.
My observation is that the majority of fellows who go on these longer appointments probably do so with ladies that they are already familiar with and most likely have previously reviewed, or the gents aren't the review type at all, or, as danwashere pointed out, they must keep a lower profile, so may save the dinners for business trips out-of-town. Those reviews would be in other cities' forums.

And that's when those successful men who appreciate & require a bit more discretion, choose to enjoy extended dinner dates in another city while on a business trip. I know those men very well.
And the ones who don't travel for their jobs, yet still wish to enjoy dinner with a lady.
Then said lady may enjoy cooking for them. Something I've done numerous times and absolutely enjoy it, given that I'm a good cook.

SO a guy has to pay for the time for the girl, along with dinner? Yeah no thanks. If I am buying a $50 to $100 meal, I better not be paying another $200 for the hour with them.

In the past, ive done dinner dates before, after, and during sessions. Now its not a viable option(for the reason danwashere stated). I always seem to run into somebody i know, so unless its a date in the westside, southside, or another city; im running the risk of somebody seeing me. Now, id never have a problem with bringing food or a nice beverage if the provider wishes!

Then perhaps your not the type of dinner companion or BCD companion, that many women, such as myself, would care to enjoy.

As evident from several replies, there is a variety of opinion on the issue, whether dinner should be "on" or "off" the clock.
Therefore, it is extremely important that any plans for a dinner date include explicit discussion and agreement by both parties before the date commences. Nothing like a misunderstanding to kill the mood.

I agree.
And that's why I explicitly make it a point to clearly indicate such, on my website. So there's no misunderstanding. And thus, all my dinner dates have been off the clock and wonderful!

This is a pretty bitchy response. There are lots of guys who can't phantom paying for the privilege of paying for dinner. That doesn't make him a bad dinner or bcd companion. I personally don't understand that concept.

No my response wasn't bitchy at all. It was very straightforward to the *bitchy* negative reply from the hobbyists who bitched about paying for dinner AND paying for BCD. (or as he stated, how he would NOT pay for dinner and then pay for BCD). And please don't insert words into my mouth. I never stated said type of guy would be a *bad* dinner or BCD companion. Re-read my comment.
I am a woman who UNDERSTANDS 100% that not all men can afford dinner dates. If a man can't afford it. fine. Don't bitch about it then. (as the previous hobbyist did). Respectful men in this hobby don't bitch like that.
And he's the type (the bitching type) that I and other ladies who enjoy said dinner companionship wish to avoid. And I stand by my previous comment.

I do not see where he's talking about bcd time. He's talking about paying $200 for the hour spent having dinner. Also the bad dinner and bcd companion were your words not mine.

If Whootie's comment:
*better not be paying another 200 for the hour to be with them.*
Isn't about BCD time. Then that's MY mistake and I'll admit to misreading what he wrote. I'm not above being or saying I'm wrong.

However, you sir did make said (BAD dinner/bcd )remarks.
My previous comments. And I quote:
*Then perhaps your not the type of dinner companion or BCD companion, that many women, such as myself, would care to enjoy. *
No where in my comments did I state they were a BAD dinner or BCD companion.
There's a big difference with *not being the type some of women who enjoy dinner dates* to being a bad guy to enjoy. So again. Don't twist my words.
There are gals that don't require nor want to be wined and dined at the most expensive restaurants, to be able to enjoy some NON BCD time with their male companions. So if in general, a guy wants to enjoy lunch or dinner with his lady companion, yet your budget won't allow for anything fancy. Let her know and see if she's one of those down to earth gals that enjoy the old mom & pop places.
Which BTW, are some of the best places to dine.

Either a person is interested in dinner dates or they are not and it has nothing to do with how successful someone is or is not. Every person here knows exactly how "out there" he or she wants to be in relation to the hobby. As far as expenditures for any encounter (if the lady charges or not and/or if the gentleman is willing to pay or not) ==> that is totally between the parties involved and no one else's business whatsoever.
