St. Louis for Mardi Gras??

Thinking about stopping in St.Louis for Mardi Gras!! Can't wait! What to do? Where to stay? Need some ideas.
Any thing i need to know ??

Absolutely stay downtown, Soulard "location of Madi Gras" is just a mile south
Last year had a "date" with a KC provider who was staying downtown, seemed like the hotels
were very very Madi Gras friendly as tons of people were coming and going with coolers, etc

The Bar's move everything outside, streets are FULL of people. If the weather cooperates it will be absolutely crazy

Regarding reference friendly providers - I think most well reviewed ladies are good about giving references. If not, I generally just tell the client who isn't providing a reference and if they have another reference. That way the client can decide whether they want to see that lady again.
