Default Supplements?

I recently made a post to this thread on the SA board. Just wondering what input my Houston folks can add to this. It's not a new topic, but fresh info is always good from the men and the women. Never needed it...I don't thinkBut would not mind experimenting.

If you are not having problems then dont take anything. it can interrupt your normal productions of testosterone. If, like me, you are a bit older and having some troubles then I recommend HIGHLY you google Magic for Men. I just take one about 2 hours before a session and I am like a fucking machine.
You can order just two pills from them to see if you like it.

Like I said, do not take any supplements if your production is normal.

+100 as to the warning. I would add ....

.... make sure you consult a physician who knows about the effects of "additives" to YOUR SYSTEM ... and if you engage in the consumption of "additives" of ANY KIND on a regular basis (meaning weekly, monthly) have your blood and urine levels checked at least quarterly on a regular basis and particularly make sure they test your kidney and liver functions.

A hot chick is generally the best supplement.

Like Spear and Lexus said, avoid them if you can. They have side effects you don't want.

Oh please...don't worry about testosterone production being affected. Worry more about unregulated and unstudied ingredients of dubious origin which could adversely affect kidney/liver/cardiac function.

Besides, most supplements claim to target libido but mostly target blood flow similar to Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, etc... The idea that those same supplements affect natural testosterone production is laughable. For that to happen they would have to interfere with the HPT Axis feedback loop in a significant way over a sustained period of time causing a decrease and eventual shutdown of natural production. Even 100% testosterone when taken orally gets metabolized by the liver to the point of being worthless!

99.99% of male enhancement supplements and testosterone boosters are worthless snake oil. The other .01% either illegally contain Viagra (like Vitalikor did before it was pulled) or have an ingredient such as yohimbine which explain their effect. Tons of supplements have ingredients not on the label, and the quality of the ingredients is always suspect and apt to change without notice

It's an industry regulated only as a food product so they can make unsubstantiated claims without recourse.

Never underestimate the power of the placebo effect

I was on a mobile device earlier so I didn't cite sources for the issue of unlabeled ingredients in supplements.

Here's a Healthline article entitled "Study: Majority of Dietary Supplements Contain Unlisted Ingredients"

Here's the study upon which the article was based showing 60% of supplements tested had undisclosed ingredients.
