The Chargers have been mostly disappointing me for over 40 years. This year, however, there was little expectation of success, so any playoff win is a big plus. Hopefully they can beat the Broncos again.

Peyton has very little playoff success against the Chargers and, relative to the rest of his season, did only average against the Chargers in two meetings this year. I look forward to the next game.

West Coast Romo will probably have a tough time even against the Bronco's secondary. However having to play the same team 3 times is stooped. But then the NFL and WWF are so close to being the same thing, management wise, who knows. I figured the Super Bowl winner was picked back in July sometime...

I feel that same way phildo, you can pick the super bowl particpates by choosing who has the best drama the analysts can speak on, I.e. brothers coaching against each other, but damn we all gotta love SanFran right

It was decided VERY early in the season, the Chargers are going to win the Super Bowl: http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/01/san-...per-bowl-stat/

I'd be happy to place a bet with any of the Donkey fans here. Made a killing on the bengals game from all my Cincy friends. Peyton Manning is like Trevor Hoffman, the best during he regular season, but minimal success in the post-season. The Chargers always play him well.

CHATEAU says:

Watch out for the Chargers. They've been in "Play-Off Mode" for the past 5 - 6 weeks now. Eerily enough, this resembles something akin to what the ***Steelers went thru several yrs ago.....every game in December was an Elimination Game (they won them all), sneaked in as the 6th seed on the final day in the AFC....and used that momentum to go on and win the Super Bowl.

Not saying The Superchargers are going to go back into Mile High and beat Peyton and Co this weekend (but) I wouldn't be shocked if it happened. San Diego's defense looks healthy and is playing really well.....and their rookie head coach seems to know something about game planning vs Peyton. Plus, Phillip Rivers seems to be taking what defenses are giving him; kind of what Flacco did last year (and the Broncos defense ain't exactly the Steel Curtain, right?)

Stay tuned......

By the way, am I thinking of the ***Packers instead? lol....my bad if I am.....

Have to agree with Boltfan on this one. I think the Chargers have a good chance against Denver for sure.

I don't know who I will root for. Always liked Payton Manning, but I'm getting into the charger mania now.
