Wait wait wait wait a minute. You can rewire a hitachi? I knew I should have kept the broken three from the days of yore. (Apparently you shouldn't use a hitachi more than 20 minutes at a time or it overheats and things melt and break. ALSO...hitachi no longer makes the magic wand so they're all rip-offs these days. Also also, I wonder if the 20 minute time before melt-down is decreased if you're going under-the-covers...a necessity if you heard how loud that thing gets.
