Serious question about LE

Everyone know that I have a day job in finance, but when a LE walks into my place of employment asking me about the office location I rent out (for all my clients I see for FBSM) saying that the two girls that work out of that office work out of this office, wanting to know if they are related at all?
I said no of corse, but the Lady LE said that there's someone stalking over there at that building and she just wanted to keep everyone safe! Puts me on high alert!! How would she know where I work if I wasn't being followed & could she say all that if she was here to find out anything else!
I've decided to close the studio down for a while, but does this mean that LE is on to me?? Ugh, my nerves are on high blast right now! What to do??

1) cops lie. Trained to.

2) Thank them for the information but tell them "I don't know how that could help me but thanks for your concern"

3) I doubt if the cops were watching you or whatever that they would come in and announce like they did.

4) Ask them how they found out about the "stalker". Very odd that a cop just "notices" a stalker.

5) When you get that odd, unsafe feeling - go low and stay low. For 3x longer than you think it needed. And then some more.

6) In most states, getting pinched as a provider is mildly inconvenient. Being an "organizer" makes you a "pimp". In most states - a lot bigger problem.

LE was intentionally trying to get a reaction out of you, basic pysch ploy. Then there was a followup Q, for an additional reaction. I think your conclusions are valid.
I agree with Gregster's comments except #3, and add that the best way to win at bluff poker is to practice. I disagree with his #3 as the questions were specifically targeted.

Some people have long noses and noticed 'suspicious' activity and asked the cops to check it out

Hobbying in the smaller Texas communities is way different from Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and I am not excepting city suburbs!

Not that the "morality" in smaller cities is much different there, but

1) way fewer hotel resources
2) small town mentality and more people know each other or of each other
3) small town LE has much more pressure on them to "do something"

If a provider's physicality (looks, hair, sculpted body) is any clue, way too many locals know exactly who she is or may be. Which is why, for example, providers who reside in small towns usually elect to travel elsewhere to hobby.

Very well known and visible city male personalities do much the same thing - go elsewhere to hobby.... or engage with high dollar visitors who are unlikely to know or see them on the tube.
