every year the so buys a ton of candy then has something come up and I end up having to pass it out....wonder how she would feel if I hired a helper
In my area there are no shortage of crumb snatchers so it would likely not leave any private time.

Ps...what the hell is with the prices for candy this year??? I asked about the $80 charge at WM and she gave me the receipt.. 4 bags of candy

I'm still figuring out what I want to do but unless a better option comes up I'm planning on staying home and doing the movies and candy thing. I may go check out one of the haunted houses in Ft Worth too if I can get someone to go with, I've never been to one other than the ones at Six Flags lol

just a pointer:

don't "cheap out" on the candy, with licorice sticks or candy corn... at least do fun size candy bars.

that should keep rolls of toilet paper from winding themselves around your tree limbs

You're welcomed to come trick or treat at my place! I pretty much go all out, graves in the yard, spider webs, skeletons, fog machine, pipe organ music, spotlights, then I get into costume and sit very still out front till the li'l darlin's get close!

The SO refuses to dress up because she has to hand candy to the ones too chicken to come to my side of the sidewalk!
