Is it possible to delete a post on this site?

Is it possible to delete a post on this site? Reason I ask is I glanced a new listing the other day and sent a message for follow up details....found a free minute and thought I would check to see if anything new was listed and to my surprise the posting is gone. I even went back to my message and looked at the users post history and it shows the "correct" total but is one off from the total displayed.
Anyway if I am poking around somewhere I don't belong "nothing to see here, move along" then my apologies... Just wanted to know how in case I wanted to delete future post for any reason.

Threads usually aren't removed, but in the case of advertising issues, they may be.

Example: a lady posts a repeated welcome thread. Or a VP posts in the welcome forum. Those are no-nos, so we remove the post with a note to the user.

In your above example, you had replied to just such a post.

I have seen reviews of LMT's removed as well
