ROAK is the most high end night club in Houston right now(Upper Kirby). Always run into celebrities and Texans players there. Nobody but thugs go downtown anymore after happy hour.

I LOVE to check out places when traveling and usually take about 2 non hobby days of the trip to have some "me time"

If you have to ask you probably shouldn't go. You will end up writing a Yelp review saying the staff treated you like shit because you looked like a peasant and made your drink wrong. (You ordered a gross girly martini that you sent back twice because it tasted too liquory). This has happened on a date with me before. Two girls and a client. It was VERY embarrassing. Minus the Yelp review but we have all read the fat girl reviews.

Downtown Houston sucks! The only thing open at night is the Flying Saucer and they recently stopped wearing the school girl skirts. I went in there last week and all the girls were wearing plain black skirts and leggings, and there was a pregnant waitress, I mean way too much pregnant. How did this place go so far downhill within one year.

WTF?!? Not having school girl skirts anymore is like no longer serving beer there!

As for roak, that place sucks too. It is filled with $1,000 millionaire douchebags who are trying to make Houston more like their sorely missed Dallas or Miami or wherever they came here from.
