Default best steak in KC
I've been craving a good steak like crazy lately! Ruths Chris used to be my favorite but the last time I went I wasn't impressed at all. Filet mignon is my favorite cut. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys! The last time that i had steak there I remember it being a little too grisly and not done to my liking. Maybe I just had a bad piece and an unxperienced chef. I might have to give that place another try.
My god good steak turns me on lol

I agree with J Gilberts or you can't go wrong with Capital Grille either. Both serve up a mean Filet. Now, I wish I could join you, your suggestion makes me crave one too. Lol.

J Gilberts and Capital Grille are both great, but if you want a real treat, try 801 Chophouse in the P&L.

Wonderful food and outstanding service. Steaks are great, but my favorite lady says that the veal chop is the best meal she's ever had.

Grrr My trainer told me that I need to eat red meat once or twice a week to build muscle especially becuase i'm female. Someone that was very special to me used to take me fine dining on a regular basis. Now I'm spoiled lol so the only red meat that I had enjoy and is cost effective is bison.

I know this may sound strange, but the best tasting steak I've had was at La Fou Frog. And the fries were exceptional

I've always wanted to try that place. At one time they had kangaroo on the menu, they still might. I love tasting new meat. You know what i mean lol
