I hope your visit to the MS Coast is a good one.

Generally, there are three areas in which to stay:

Gulfport - there are nice hotels near the airport, and there are cheaper hotels along US-49 not far from I-10. You get what you pay for at these hotels - cheap can be really cheap. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, although the better restaurants are in the downtown area.

Biloxi - check the specials at the casinos. Sometimes you can score a room for a very good price at the casinos, but some of them (Palace, in particular) require a room key to access the elevators. Most casinos are fine for hobby meetings. There are also hotels on or near the beach - stay at the better known chains; some of the little ones are pretty iffy.

Ocean Springs - there are several hotels at or near exit 50 on I-10 that are fine and not expensive. Not much else out by the exit, but OS has a very nice downtown that's not far away (10 min max).

I had fun at the beach but hobby wise, no. I will not come back. I don't know if it's timing or something. Guys lacked references and ladies didn't get back in time to check references. Maybe I'll try Jackson the next time.

This place is pretty easy, all the hotels are bunched together right off the highway in gulfport, all along the beach in Biloxi and right off the highway in OS too. Stay away from all 1 stars, they suck pretty bad.

A little bit of advise for this area, if you're posting on BP, mark your photos! There is a lot of BS around here with traveling girls getting their photos taken by the local agency creeper. Have fun and stay safe!
