I had a VERY close call about a month ago - completely unrelated to meeting the girl I did that is - but nonetheless there I was standing outside a hotel at 3am waiting for the police to show up.

We were in the room from before midnight until about 3am when I was leaving and the girl was going to pick up a roommate. I was the first leaving and she in her car behind me when someone runs in front of my car waving their hand and pointing something at me. Luckily it turned out to be a phone. All I heard him say was "nobody is leaving, the police are on their way" and I was freaked out.

Turns out someone stole his mobile phone and some cash from the front desk. Thought it was us as we were leaving. The trouble got worse when the girl behind me got scared and went out the other exit - making the suspicion go through the roof.

I had to call and text to have her come back because the guy got her license plate number and her room reservation info.

But, the cops showed up first and I got GRILLED for 30 minutes on who I was, what I was doing, who I was with, how we knew each other, what her name was, what she did for a living, when was she coming back.

So this brings me to suggestions...if you can get the name on the reservation for the room do it because if I gave a name that was not the same as that on the room things would have gotten MUCH worse.

I had some time to send texts with our "back story" on where we met and when and that she asked me to come over as she waited until she had to pick up her roommate from work and that she was staying in the room because her AC was out.

Her saying the same things to the police was the only thing stopping an arrest.

So try to have a name, a story, and cool nerves when coming or going.

I try to be an outcall only person now...it really shook me.

Just trying to pass along a story that may help out others in the hobby...both provider and client.

Just saying that if I did not know her name or anything about her...I was most likely going to be arrested. Not saying it is easy...but I certainly look for women that can help if i outcall.

Just really shook me up

Yeah I can relate to that feeling...
I would have left myself... but then again, that is what I would want to do... who knows what I would do if actually in that situation.

But tell me what would they have arrested you for... the last I checked, there was nothing illegal about leaving a hotel at 3 am.

they were VERY quick to say that they have had complaints and arrests for the strippers at the near by club bringing people back. They were questioning what club I was at and all of that.

I said the same thing about the time I was leaving, that it was just when I was leaving but they were persistent. So you are right, probably not going to get arrested but it would have been a much longer night if stories did not match.

As far as leaving...that would have been a bad decision. The dude was writing down license plate numbers and I do not need questions going to employer or home. Had to stand my ground.

Try "I came to the wrong motel".

Otherwise, no dates at night, unless the lady has a reputation or your second date. As a general rule, don't ever go to a lady's room viewable from the lobby or when the cleaning lady is walking the halls. Don't enter through a fire exit, go through the lobby.

never talk to the cops

those CSI/CLOSER type shows that have the suspect "come down" and talks to the cops is all for show
no one would do that, or ever stick around and talk to the cops.
that's how you avoid being arrested, you dont talk to the cops
case dismiissed

There was a robbery and someone leaving when asked to stop would have been bad...well that is what went through my head.

Yeah that's real smart, never talk to the cops. Don't stick around, just drive on out of there. Brilliant!! Maybe you should re-read his situation. They would of had his plate number if he took off. And just who do you think would be suspect numero uno?

You keep the hobby out of the equation and be cooperative. If you are cooperative, the cops will be do. That's always been my experience dealing with them. Seems that's what he did and had a backup plan to tell. For the situation he was abruptly put in, seems to me he handled it pretty well.

The said the End Zone in Olathe. I have never been there but they were very quick with a very detailed description of the girls taking guys for private dances, agreeing to meet and then going to this hotel - was a Days Inn by the medical center and that huge mall (sorry I am not familiar with that area to be more specific.)

Honestly, this all was handled pretty badly. I am not YOUR lawyer, so take my unpaid for and unsolicited advice for what it's worth.

Not to be crude, but in that situation, I would have told that guy something that started with F and ended with U as I causally drove away. Unless there is some sort of relationship you are not disclosing, he, a private citizen, is not the boss of you. He cannot detain you.

NEVER talk to cops. Period. They can lie to you and twist your words all they want to fit whatever narrative or agenda that they are trying to put forth. There is no consequences for them when they do. There is no upside to ever speaking to them. You are legally required to speak the truth if you CHOOSE speak to them. Easiest thing in the world is to just not speak to them.

Now you might counter that if you left it would have made you look guilty. Understand that the most cursory investigation of this situation ould be a review of the video from the lobby. As long as you did not steal the stuff, it will not matter to the investigator that you did not choose stick around. You have no legal duty to do so. They won't track you down to question you because it will be clear that you had no involvement in the matter anyway. That is if they even bother to do anything other than take a report. Generally with matters of petite theft, that's all that will happen.

Not that I have a lot of experience dealing with law enforcement but it does seem as if you projected your knowledge of what you were doing onto the police as if they would know what you were doing. As long as the room was legally rented, you can visit with whom ever you want. It is unlikely that a uniformed officer would be concerned with vice matters anyway. I would have left, if and it is a big if, the police tracked you down, I would simply tell them you were visiting a friend in room ???. Its been my experience that you should always let an attorney do the talking for you. The police will always tell you that asking for an attorney makes you look guilty, the reality is if the police are talking to you they think your guilty anyway so you might as well do so through a filter. But hey what do I know.
