I will never again be the lavish showerer of gifts. I'll not haggle either. But one of the worst feelings I've encountered is buying nice things for someone who doesn't have any sincere affection for you. They're all going to tell me to fuck off eventually, but later on, they won't say I was pretending to be something I wasn't.
