A funny thing happened today

I went and got a haircut at one of the major chains. As I was talking to the stylist I looked at her photo on her license and realized at one time she used to be a provider and I had seen her before. She didn't act like she recognized me and I showed her the same courtesy. We ended up talking about outdoor stuff we liked to do.

I just wondered if she recognized me also and how many other people have had the same experience.

So are you going to call her and see if she is wanting to make some extra cash. Cutting hair doesn't pay a whole lot.

I know of 2 ladies that are legitimate "stylists" that make around 80K a year. One of them owns 2 houses, works her hours & doesn' t have to deal with any BS. Just like anything else in life, it is where you end up & how well you do whatever it is that you do.

Why would you own two houses? I understand building equity, etc, why its better than renting(depending on how long you'd rent)
but 2 homes on 80K a year? what are the property taxes that makes that worth doing?
what BS are you talking about? the BS of the daily commute? dealing with people?

I saw her about 2 years ago. She is now in her mid 20's and looks good. At the time I saw her she had pink and black hair past her back and pale skin, kind of a goth look. Now her hair is short, still multicolored and she has a tan. I wouldn't have recognized her without the license photo.

I didn't repeat with her as a provider. However she does give a pretty good haircut and I will go back.

might be the reason she's cutting hair now. maybe not.

there was one woman up in kc, ks a few yrs ago who would cut your hair while she was naked [she wore a clear plastic poncho like thing]. then would take you to her bedroom for some post-haircut delites. 1.5 hrs, 250 total. i would have gone for another hc but she dropped out of the scene. oh well.....
