free photo shoot
I noticed that a number of girls here seem like they could use some much better photos than what they have available. I'm a decent photographer with a good eye and I know I could do much better - and I'd like to have the opportunity to expand my portfolio. Not asking for anything else - just some time and a location for the shoot - and of course I'd provide you with all photos - if you like them, they're yours - if not, no harm done. This is a serious offer with no strings attached. PM me if interested.

Say YES to self pics: easy, cheap, current and cool and you fully control how they are used. Or shared. Or not. Digital images difficult to control when not self-taken or taken by trusted professional who charge for services. Freebies rare. Even rarer in the Hobby?
Here is nice example (among scores) of a well known provider on ECCIE who uses the self shot quite effectively. Do you agree?

I totally disagree. As a photographer, I see very few phone camera mirror shots that are flattering. The one you posted is and some providers do a good job. But generally I see distorted butts because of the short lens in most phones, bad lighting, awkward posing.
Sign a good contract that addresses control of the images and let a talented photographer capture your beauty. If anyone needs a good contract, PM me and I will share.

I'm sorry but i have to completely agree with 19trees. I have had many hobbyists tell me they prefer self-taken/friend taken pics non professional. They say it is more natural and shows the provider in her own light. Professional pics are posed and are a style the photographer wants. I have taken professional pics many times.. and i absolutely hated it.. he was telling me how to pose and how to smile.. it felt unnatural.. all my pics are non professional and i get no complaints.
Below is a phone pic that i have

Right or wrong, the point doesn't have to be made such that it shits on the OP's effort to work with someone.

a true pro is going to work WITH you to get images you both love and that accurately represent you. it's an art that combines technical skill, people skill, and knowledge of how different subjects will look in different poses.
at the end of the day, any picture can work. it's just a question of what works for you.

If my comments were seen as negative towards the OP, I apologize. I merely meant the if someone else is shooting, there should be a written agreement about compensation, or not, and intellectual property rights. Trust is most important between the shooter and the model. OP's goal of expanding his port is fine. It is art and beauty we are all seeking!
As John_deere said, a good photographer, self, friend or pro will draw out the natural beauty for showcase pics. I seldom start a shoot without having the model first send me a list if ideas and outfits. I see it as a collaboration.

I was referring to post #2. A dude starts a thread offering TFP. And someone else immediately posts an enthusiastic "just do it yourself!" Professional vs. self-took photos is a good debate, and #2 isnt all wrong, but kinda douchy to step on the guy's thread as he did. The OP isn't even asking for money.

These threads pop up from time to time and I always say this is not modelmayhem. Images for providers are a huge part of their brand and the ones that take it seriously understand that. You don't practice when dealing with what someone uses to further their business. Now many providers don't care how they build their brand so crappy self shots are the standard on this and other escort directory sites. I applaud the ones that do good self shots but they are the exception not the norm. As far as photographers not listening to the needs of the providers, the provider has to be vocal on what she needs, make sure the photographer sees your vision and give feedback during the shoot but if you go in and give no examples, no feedback, etc then you get what the photograpger sees because they cannot read your mind.
So let's sum it up...practice on modelmayhem because offers of free no matter how sincere are always taken as offers of trade....good self photos work and bad ones say you don't care how you come across but remember you are your brand and what do you want your clients to see in your brand...if you work with a pro he is not a mind reader or magician he is a photographer so give input and feedback before and during your shoot.
