Riff on favorite men's cologne: jeans
Since I have used Chanel "Pour Monseur" for a 100 years I found the article on colognes to make her clothes fall off quite informative and interesting. I have always liked Chanel because it apparently has some anise in it and does not have the sweet, gooey smell that a lot of colognes do. Next time I am at the department store I will look into some of these.
Now, I am interested in the ladies ( and selected gentlemen's) take on jeans. I have worn Levis of various sorts, boot cut, 501's, etc. for years, venturing into Girbaud's Skinny Cowboys when they existed, and a stint wearing Nordstrom's brand " Facionable" until the label went private and skyrocketed in price.
Now I am asking for jean references. I want a functional jean, but one I could comfortably wear to Trio for example. I don't want to be necessarily a "pretty boy" and pretentious but would like a good quality pair of jeans under 150.
Any opinions please, what about the Lucky brand?
Is there much out there to know?
Thanks, J.
