May have posted in the wrong place..forgive me

I don't know if I should be making a announcement or not but I'm scared.
Fox News and SAPD thinks its news to bust people. This has been the Main topic for the past weeks. I'm Definatly going to erase my showcase and change my name. I don't wanna say when in case I'm being watched but I'm spooked. Of course I only see people I screen, and I've long stop using BP. But who knows WHAT THOSE ASSHOLE are doing! Ugh I'm so mad. On the topic for tonight they bust A TEACHER!! ( that's how they are saying it with much emphasis on the teacher)

It's embarrassing and I feel bad for those guys who are innocent guys just trying to get laid. So he's not qualified to teach because he likes sex.

Deleting your showcase and/or profile may help
...if youve posted pics in any threads and/or ads..im unsure if "those" pix will be deleted. Maybe theyll just be harder to find.

Maybe come back with a new name, no face pics, and continue to screen as you do...hopefully youll be fine

Well crap I am going to change my avatar. I'd suggest beyond screening that u not have any explecit conversations or text.
A good leo check is to ask Show me whatur working with? If he whips it out not LEO, work for me to if she bends over shows the kitty not leo.

Remember its ur mouth that will get u loked up, keep the convo clean.

imho, good to remember that during the run-up to election season, which may also be a tv ratings season, LE and TV and news outfits focus on the obvious and "sex sells."

And the sellers of sex (buyers, too) are an obvious focus and locus.

Thing is, "stuff" you have ever put on the 'net never really disappears, even if removed from the initial posting source.

Hobby-wise, best to start off with a low profile, keep it that way and screen and vouch very carefully.

Remember, LE first chases the "low hanging fruit" (does not refer to a nut-sack!) by going after the street stuff, the fixed locations, such as spas, and the agencies and "agents" who post wantonly all over BP and other low-level sites.

The above means LE can catch the most news space and tv time with less effort. Which is what the chase is all about.

Those truly into the hobby security mode have much less concern compared with streets/spas etc.

Hobbying via face-to-face meet & greets, established routines on the boards, and known referrals and referencing is the better way to lower anxiety levels even if it means less "immediate" linking.

Like CK said it's easier picking off low lying fruit . They are more likely to set up stings via BP . Harder to do with reviews and verification . A lot of ladies have gone to not newbie friendly policy . Sorry newbies , but this is a excellent precaution . But also don't get all bent out of shape with paranoia . It's only a misdemeanor . They have higher priority targets , now that elections are over . And they are still way under budgeted !

You seem real paranoid......you should always screen everyone real good honey, not just when the "news" brings it to light......maybe the reason I never get scared or shaken is because I see the same ol' peeps (hehe) every month and keep the traffic super low......I've been screening some guys since 2011 and they still haven't seen me because they haven't made me feel 100% with the information given.......As long as you screen your XXX dates properly I wouldn't worry bout it

No I do screen everyone but at some rate. I have doubts in no matter what. Paranoid is exactly what this thread was about.

All humour aside, the reality is that while the federal/state election season has passed, the upcoming city elections are just a few months hence.

Lots of good info in the thread, so far, and fact of the matter is many aware hobbyists really appreciate ladies with secure screening processes since that usually reduces (for both sides) any anxiety of seeing peeps for the first time.

Since there are some imposters out there, double that.

Some folks have asked me recently about event screening and vouching. All is done via well-established members. Re-vouching, as well.

The pictures in threads and ads have to have URLS. That means they're hosted on a site (not on your computer). If you delete them from the originating site, then the ones in the ads disappear. (sites could be your webpage, or ImageCoast, PhotoBucket, etc.)

I saw that on the news and had no problem with it. Those guys were there to see what they beloved to be a 15 year old girl and that's a problem. Yes that man should not be allowed to teach kids after being arrested for attempting to see a 15yr old girl for prostitution.

Yay sensationalism!! I like how Jabba is the LAST station to report on something that the other outlets report a couple of weeks early. You'd think that they would broadcast first since they had exclusive access.

This will pass though...like it does every year.
