Anyone play poker?

I play a lot of poker. Not at the boats -- I'm a low stakes kind of guy. But I play in bar games and friendly games with the guys.

I was thinking it might be fun to have a poker night and invite some of the ladies to come along. Maybe they want to play, but I was thinking more about entertainment. I've been in games where there were all kinds of house rules that encourage interaction with the ladies in the room.

Things like drawing pocket sevens means everyone at the table has to chip in $10 for you to get seven minutes with a lady under the table. Or where a guy could tip a lady to distract his opponent in heads up play. Who can say what "I got the nuts" means in this context? Maybe some guy might want to go all in, so he can leave the table and really go all in.

Anyone think a poker night would be fun? I know it would have to be arranged offsite, without any ECCIE involvement. But maybe post your ideas here. Nothing specific, but we might see what we can do.

Ah, I love poker. Texas hold 'em all the way! I would like to play a game, but unfortunately I'm in Dallas. We have a lot of "under the table" games here.

Typically 8 or 9, but there's no set rule. Lots of online sites have 6-player tables. If there were more interested we could do two tables.

What other ideas do you have to make the game interactive and distracting?

Pocket Queen+King or Queen+Jack could earn a kiss or a lapdance
Ladies flash whenever a pair comes up on the table

These are definitely the key decisions. Guys play at all different levels and I'm sure no one would come to a game like this expecting to win thousands of dollars, we also will have guys who won't think it is fun unless some money is on the line (part of the fun would be getting distracted by the ladies, but if there is no risk when you lose then who cares?)

We also would have to come to an arrangement with any ladies who wanted to attend. Do the guys chip in and pay them a flat rate for their attendance and then tip them for other fun things? or is it all working for tips? How much are the tips, and who has to pay? What do we do about ladies who want to play (can they earn tips, do they have to chip in for the entertainment, etc)?

Lots of questions, and it will be hard to get everyone to agree. But it would be fun to sit down and hash it out.
