This is especially for the ladies, but men be aware too.

I post in several locations, BP being one. I received an email off my ad today, from someone that had made an email address using my name, then emailed me and said
"You're reviewed and verified, but we're watching you closely".

Very cryptic, and very unsettling. Has anyone had this experience previously? Any pointers?

i have had my account hacked before, that sounds scary be careful.

I've fortunately *knock on wood* never had my email hacked, just ghosted, which happens with emails often.

But this person went so far as to make a whole new fresh email account with my name, and then send a cryptic message. Makes you wonder the mind state of a person who does that. More than anything makes me angry.

They didn't steal my account, or take my account. They made a fresh/new email account with my name as the email address to email me at.

Let's put it this way, should anyone receive a message/email from: taylorlove@gmail.com, it's not me.

I've never had that email account, they made it, and emailed me that cryptic message through the BP ad I had up.

You're doing such a good job and being so well received by the gents on this board, you may have rubbed some of the ladies in NOLA the wrong way. Definitely not your fault!! Keep doing what you do and don't worry about the haters! I have no info or proof to back up my theory, but it wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. Stay safe!

TL sorry you are having issues. Crazy shit out there. Public access areas are public so that really does not seem to be a problem. Anyone can lurk and many do. I fail to see how they would have accessed your provider account to gain access to the LR. Having a bogus email shouldnt get them in there. I bet that is BS from them. Just rants from a deluded perv. Regardless be safe and watchful.

They have not accessed ANY of my accounts, I have not been ghosted, or hacked.

The email address they used to contact me was never owned by me, and they are not logging into any sites as me.

So THAT I'm not worried about. What I am concerned about is apparently someone has a personal vendetta, a few people have mentioned some 'Taylor' issues in NOLA in the past? I'm not that Taylor, or affiliated with her, or whatever drama that was.

I do find the last message interesting, they note that they see my posts in the co-ed area, and ladies locker room...I've never posted in the ladies locker room. So someone is trying to sound like they have more access than they really do.

I received a similar email saying, "you will be busted wait and see." you have to understand that to some local providers this is all they can do. when a woman such as yourself comes in they see you as a threat and try to scare you. never works and pretty sad how pathetic some people are.

It's just a simple terrorist. It's not the cops - they don't waste time on penny-ante shit like "stalking emails". This is just someone who wants to rattle you. Could be a holy-roller, or another provider.

Only thing we can know for sure is that this is one sick individual.

When someone contacts you from your BP ad they can fill in anything they want as the sender's e-mail address. They don't verify the sender is real. It doesn't have to be a valid or working e-mail address to reach you.

It is a valid and working email address. I haven't heard back from them since the last message. And certainly this isn't police.

Seems to be a client, since they "saw my post in the ladies room", one that never existed, and just tossed that in there with a 50/50 chance they were right, to get a rise out of me. Definitely not a cop, just someone who is bored, and sad. Oh well.

My original point to this was to just do what everyone else does, and warn about safety and screening, and to see, if maybe this had happened to someone else, and they resolved it
