I have my reasons for continuing to come back to the hobby. I take a "holiday" now and then because of the stress I might be encountering from outside sources.
However........I ALWAYS long for it.....and I miss it when I'm gone!

Is it just an additiction?
or....is it truly in our blood?

After a very recent and tragic heartbreak, I've decided that rather than sit around in an empty house feeling sorry for myself I've decided to ease back into the hobby after I've had a chance to unthaw a bit. Outsiders can say what they want to about s hobbyists and providers and our lifestyle, but I have had the opportunity to meet some damn fine people on this board, and the hobby in general.

I may come across as philosophical here, but I think it is the thrill of the secrecy of the hobby. Those of us who partake in this hobby lead a "double life" to a large degree. Our "civilian" friends would not understand and never know what we do. There is a bit of a thrill or rush in that regard. Just my two cents.

Interesting analysis TGO.....however...it is not the thrill that keeps me cumming back. Call me weird....if you must. Even if I had all the $$dough in the world....I probably would still participate in this hobby....in some way shape or form....and I wouldn't give a shit what anyone thought.

Master Trucker - this hobby does not necessary in all ways have a negative impact on my life....that is unless my "outside sources" get savy to what I'm doing. Otherwise.....I am happy as a lark.

We can contemplate this forever....and perhaps we can get a government grant to ignite a research project? I've seen some bizare funds being pulled from big brother....like the project to research if pantyhose DID in fact reduce the fat from the thighs? Yes....the government funded this. Can you imagine? It was run by two college students who would go to the malls.....get girls to hike up their skirt....and measure their thighs!!

Anyways...as I take a deep breath....I'm glad that I've returned to the board....and look forward to my next appt!!!
