I read about Malaya's misfortune and am interested in helping in some way, but unfortunately can not be sure to get to a Walmart any time soon (please see:

As this is a public admission of indebtedness you would think the likelihood of not getting repaid to be slim?

I have never met the lady but I did see her once at a social and liked her apparent energy, and apparent naughtiness too.
I see X-Mas gift drives going all over ECCIE, and these are good things. But isn't a roof and electricity and food more important than another toy?
