I am familiar with drug testing procedures and want to offer a correction & one more bit of info. Follicle tests do NOT go back 5 years--outside limit for accuracy is 3-6 months. That time is limited by hair length so the gentleman above is right: shave your head. BUT keep in mind that hair samples can be taken from other areas of the body.

sorry for posting so late on this thread... 1st i dont partake in anything illegal since college which i graduated 3 years ago.... i just wanted to make sure it didnt go back more than 3 years... and an update as far as the test, i took it and now im the new field engineer for completion tools over the western region of texas and south eastern region of new mexico... thanks for everyones help

Shaving your head doesn't work...don't even try shaving your junk guys! They will find enough hair somwhere or use it for grounds to deny employment.We aren't pro swimmers or super models so no need in us being hairless apes, just man up if they ask for sample.
