I'm new to ECCIE, but remember there were a lot of highly restrictive rules on the soon to be defunct ASPD Austin forum...especially in the non-hobby forums. That's why I stayed away from it. There are so many members migrating from the other board to this place I'm wondering if the same silly rules and drama will be also be following?

It would be great to have a fresh start.

ECCIE looks cool. Keep it up folks! Much success. And don't take this crap too seriously!

You are talking specifically about what? No politics? No religion too? (sorry had to do the nod to Lennon)

I personally would be fine with religious or political discussions. If others do not wish to be involved with those topics, then stay away. I think if you can not support your own personal positions when it comes to those topics, then you really do not know what you believe, and your "passion" for those ideals may seriously be lacking or in need of review.
