I was thinking (scary) if we had a natural disaster here and everyone had to evacuate, we would be screwed. If the traffic is that bad from just a game, imagine everyone trying to get out of Lincoln for a disaster!

1) Buy a detailed street map for your car.
2) Hilight at least 3 different routes out of town, two of which should be "backroads". Drive each one to make sure you are familiar with each one.
3) Place the map in a duffle bag in your trunk along with several quarts of water, convenience food like energy bars, blankets, a change of clothing, toiletries, matches, a handgun in caliber 9mm or greater, and at least 2 dozen condoms (a girl's gotta make a livin'!)
4) Have a destination. I suggest my house.
Disaster!
