I got to watch it last week when it aired on the starz channel.

it was boring. I fell asleep in the middle of it.

Kyle Smith of the New York Post awarded the movie 1 star out of 4, saying "Time for another of Steven Soderbergh's 'experimental,' i.e., half-assed, films."

David Edelstein of New York Magazine complained that, "Most of the dialogue is listless, and no matter how much Soderbergh snips and stitches, the movie is a corpse with twitching limbs."

Yeah, I didn't get it. The girl basically shit on her boyfriend the whole movie and he just took it. The whole movie was pretty slow, I don't know what the fuss was about.

I rented it a while back on dvd, pretty boring i thought, and for 2k an hour.... she seemed pretty reserved for my liking.... you guys wanna pay me that much for one hour.. well, lets just say I'll make sure you never forget about it lol

LOL. 2k is pretty strong, I mean the vagina must have been gold plated and diamond encrusted. She is an attractive girl and all but it looked like she was high throughout the entire movie. Next time I see a movie of hers it will be porn related.

Yeah, the critics were trying to figure Sasha out on her acting.. bad acting as "wooden", or great acting as "wooden".

Sasha says she based her character on a woman in a french film given to her by director Soderbergh. I wonder if that character was reeserved.

I didn't quite get it either. I think the director was trying to show the hazards of having a BF/GF relationship with an escort.

the storyline supposedly had a stalker following her at least according to a claim that I read before the movie hit the theaters. I didn't see anything like that.

I did find the clients suggestions on improving her lot in life to her kind of pretentious.

There was the hobbyist who tried to extort a freebie from her in exchange for a good review. When she wouldn’t deal, the hobbyist posted negative reviews and hurt her business, which was already suffering because of the bad economy. Her boyfriend’s business was also suffering. In fact, most of the characters were suffering financial setbacks, and the bad economy seemed to be the glue that held all of the story lines together. I am glad to hear others didn’t like it. I thought this movie had opened to great reviews, and since I didn’t like it, I thought I missed something when I watched it.
