Talking EVERYONE has there way.... whats yours???

We all have our own way of doing things. We all deal with things differently. Let’s face it, it’s a make belief “provider / hobbyist” board but at times people get to us. Why is that and how do you deal with it?

You would be a great person to hear from DH. What caused you to blow up? Did the other party deserve it? Do you regret not hitting the ignore button? Inquiring minds want and NEED to know! Thats how we learn my friend!

Well as you know , I've had two with members who shall remain anonymous . Don't even remember what actually started them . Were they justified , probably not . These both went on far too long . And I don't believe the RTM button would have been the solution . None of the parties involved wanted to be the one to "back down" or the one to just "walk away ". Walking away is probably the best choice ! Well eventually I worked things out with both of the members I had issues with . Wish I had just done it earlier . One member I currently pm with with regularity . And one member went on to have his own meltdown , haven't heard anything about him since . Really expected to have seen him back on the boards by now . But no signs of him ?

WOW.... just goes to show you, some people can put their differences aside and others are more challenged in doing so. Thanks for you input DH.

heres my take on it.
im here for one reason. to meet beautiful ladies and have a great time with them.with that being said "knottyman" is merely a way to facilitate that goal.
neither my handle nor this site define me. therefore its very hard to insult me or hurt me . you dont know "ME".
im all about just having fun on this board. when i 1st got here i would get "worked up" about all the drama, but i realized that this was a fantasy land and i had the keys to the greatest candy store ive ever seen. surprisingly, Sixx showed me that. anyone who reads both our posts, know we are very different. in person he's a genuinely nice guy, and i actually enjoyed talkin with him. these handles are just charicatures of us they AREN"T us.
if i begin to let it get to me i just realize the at almost any moment i can text, pm. or call a beautiful lady who when i get there will be looking her best just for me and will to make me feel like she only exists to please me. hell guys, we got the best of both worlds in here. if you dont click with someone, there are leterally hundreds of other ladies willin to make you feel amazing. dont get hung up on the small shit!

Every time I write a post, before I hit submit I ask myself, "Self, do you REALLY want to get involved in this?" More often than not, the answer is no, and I delete it. I've written a lot of posts that I didn't submit. We'll see if this one makes it through the filter when I'm done. Drama just isn't worth my time.

I think I'll post this one.

Default Pretty Hot Lately

I prersonally don't let much get to me. If you instagated it and got

rebuttle then you probally deserved it. Otherwise just try and be nice.

If something really gets to me I will go an shave my balls that usually

takes the edge off the ole pipe. It also makes you concentrate on

something important and takes your mind off everything else.

So... I went grocery shopping today.

The above text is how I usually respond to super serious conversations. I make them super un-serious.

Knotty, thank you for the compliments. I met you at a social by a provider and I remember that very well. I think I spent most of the time I was there talking to you. I also enjoyed talking to you regardless of our differences. Sixxbach is a part of me, no doubt. However, it does not define me as a person. I stand by my HOBBY opinions but am a very caring and emotional person outside of this place. I have met many hobbyists and providers with way different backgrounds than I and have gotten along. There will be some that dislike me but that is ok, I have always done my own thing and will continue.

Thanks knotty and hope to see ya sometime soon at a social near you....

"What gets to me"

An Opus by Toyz. Intro by Die Hard, Closing comments by Whispers, Vivid commentary by Ezz & EJL...

What sets me off...

I've been a student of the written & spoken word all my life. I am constantly intrigued and amazed the Sheer Power that words & phrasing have on us. Words can move us to great things. A simple lyric from a song can motivate us, depress us, make us cry. A well written speech has the control to move a nation...

And they are mere words! simply words strung together in a fashion...But...then comes the knowledge of WHAT words and what string of words cause action in the reader. What are the triggers? What are the touch points? The happy points, the angry points... All is particular to knowing your subject & what motivates/demotivates/pisses him off...

I've had a handful of debates gone wild on here. I have made up with EVERY one of the people since then. Of that I'm pretty proud. In some cases I was literally shocked that it evolved to what it did. In others I intentionally ramped the convo to see what the breaking point was. Usually it was for fun, and I was laughing as I typed away. Sometimes it was like "ah man, you didn't need to take it there-but since you did-lets see how you handle this".

One time I went too far. It was out of line, and typed in anger. I've apologized & I meant it. I still hope the offending party doesn't hold long term grudges because I know I escalated too far/too fast.

Of the ones I've been in conflict with, they are probably now my fav people to IM and share inside discussions with. There is a respect that is gained when you've gone through a verbal war, an understanding of the other persons motivations, fears, guilts...that tends to open up (on both sides) when you work towards remediation.

What sets me off?

I thought about this...from this verbal perspective...and there are a few things I guess...

1). Bullies...both written & physical...generally if you see a bullying situation in type or in life, I'll be the one confronting the bully to see how bad he/she REALLY is. Its something I try to guard against, but its my nature to stand up to oppresion. I'm not saying this as a great thing...its more of a pain-in-the-ass for me as I would rather just sit back and laugh...

2). Know it alls who obviously DON'T know it all. I practice tolerance, both written and the real world. We each have a brain and can make our own decisions. I'll give advice & do. Hell, I'm a high level mentor at my company & do it daily. BUT its ALWAYS the other persons option to take advice...and when its shoved down your throat, thats disrespect...in my opinion

3). Ganging up...I hate when 3-4 posters who never bring a goddamn thing to the board of note suddenly jump on someone who is already defending him/her self with all their might

4). Dumbasses who are just stoopid and say stoopid things...

I've been playing/moderating chat lines & web sites since the beginning of chat sites...have watched the human dynamic play out 1,000's of times and unfortunately it is largely predictable based on personality type. And yeah, I'm predictable too...

But its fun, ain't it?

I would have to agree with this statement . That is why I said hitting the RTM button is not really the solution . It will end the situation , but not bring it to resolution . Only when both parties are tired of butting heads , and decide its time to end , can a resolution of the situation come to exist .
