Well, at least now we know the truth. As if it wasn't obvious all along.

Based on his deficit spending through March 19, 2012, Obama is on pace to spend 12.48 trillion in deficit spending if he gets a second term. We are looking at a financial meltdown. Paul Ryan says, that unless we get spending under control in the next two years, America will be in the same shape as Greece.

The current yearly budget is approximately 3.8 trillion. If Romney is in office for eight years that would mean total federal spending of 30.4 trillion. That's if he freezes spending at the current level, which would be a miracle.
So you say Romney is promising to spend 10.7 trillion; that sounds good to me.
Maybe, you were talking about deficit spending?

You're going to have to be way more specific. You say Romney will increase Obama's "current plan" by 25%. What does "current plan" mean? Twenty five percent of what? The debt? The yearly deficit? Total spending?
We've certainly gotten ourselves into a real economic mess and we're probably not going to balance the budget overnight. I keep hearing about trillion dollar deficits indefinitely. I hope to God Romney gets this thing under control, otherwise we're screwed.

The current level of spending would have happened no matter who is president. And the next president will top even this level of spending, even if it is Matt. What is cptjohnstone and COG going to say then?
