Who Are The Cowboys Gonna Pick In The NFL Draft
The first round of the 2012 NFL Draft starts tonight. Just wondering who the Boys will select with the 14th pick of the 1st round. Or will they try to move up to get a targeted player or decide to trade down and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd round pick. The names that I am hearing that are on their short list include Fletcher Cox DE, Mark Barron SS, David DeCastro OG, Stephen Gilmore CB and Michael Brockers DT. I would be happy with any of these first 4 on the list at pick #14. If the first 4 on the list are gone, I hope they trade down several places and pick up an extra pick. I am also praying that old Jerry lets Jason Garrett make the final decisions on who to draft. So what do the rest of you think or does anyone besides me really care?

Doesn't matter, regardless of who they pick Jerry Jones will use his money and power to remove all productivity from the selected player. They would be better off to trade their draft pick for productive popcorn sales.

I have been a Diehard Dallas Cowboy's Fan since I was a kid & Dandy Don Meredith was Quarterback & Tom Landry was Coach. Jerry Jones is a very smart business man. But unfortunately Jerry Jones is doble estupido/double stupid & doble retrasado/double retarded when it comes to trying to be the Football Genius that he thinks he is.
Jerry Jones Ego is as Big as Jerry World, the Dallas Cowboy's hugemongous Football Stadium. The Egotistical Jerry Jones thinks that he is a Football Genius. But he is actually the Forrest Gump of the NFL.
Jerry Jones was Eat Up with the Dumbass when he ran off Coach Jimmy Johnson many years ago. Jerry Jones was Jealous of all the Justly Due Credit that Jimmy Johnson received for the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Wins.
Just my personal jaded opinion, the Cowboys will never make a deep playoff run or return to another Super Bowl until Jerry Jones turns over Total & Complete Football Decision Making to a Real Football General Manager that has NFL Football Knowledge/Smarts & steps away completely. This will happen when monkeys fly out of mi culo.

+1 on that! Was in D/FW area today and see the DeathStar every time I drive through. Reminds me more of a hemorrhoid on the Arlington skyline every time I see it rather than a place of winners.
And it is even more sad to go by the old location of the House that Tom Landry Built (Texas Stadium) and see it being used as a construction parking lot.

Well, the Claiborne pick was brilliant. The cost wasn't too high. They gave up no front line players and picked up a "shut down" corner.
I have no idea how this works out down the road, but this kid is a potential game changer (does the name Deion Sanders ring a bell?).
Capitan, we'll have to see if Jones can fuck up this wet dream too. LOL

It was a good move to move up and get Claiborne. He is a shut down corner like RJ said. But he does have 2 weaknesses to his game.. He does not press the receiver off the line of scrimmage and more importantly he is not a good tackler. Hopefully he can be coached up on these deficiences.

Like I said NG, just like Deion Sanders who couldn't tackle his own mama.

The obvious pick at any level would be for a new owner. Until then it is a lost cause.

Yes if Dallas really wanted to boost their sales of memorabilia they could copy an idea from the late seventies. Then you could buy a picture of Ayatollah Kumeini (or however the fuck you spell it). You would drain the water from your toilet until it was completely dry and then place these stickers on the bottom just above the exit hole. You know the part where the skid marks are usually left, .
Then after a brief period you would fill the toilet bowl again and every time you took a shit you could express your true feelings. Well I see a large Cowboys star with Jerry's picture being a very popular way to re-introduce this novelty.
Can you imagine a better place to take a 4:00 am Bean Burrito, Budweiser, liquid explosion, power dump?
