Default Longer than expected to unload??? (wish I had this issue)

This is a question for hobbyist and providers

Providers: When it takes a hobbyists longer than expected to unload and he has exceeded the time you agreed upon, do you continue until the job is done? Let him know that the session has run longer than expected, then ask if he would like to pay for more time?

Hobbyist: If you were to take longer than allotted time to unload, (lucky bastard) do you leave a little extra in consideration of her time or pay the fee that was agreed upon scheduling?

It's typically a time-based service. If you are going over, I would think it proper to note the situation when it's obvious you are "running late," ASK if more time is available and be ready to compensate for that time.

You should offer to pay for the extra time spent. You're on her clock.

If the session starts at the scheduled time and no fault of the hobbyist that it is started late, and he "unloads" right at hour mark, (since she is a clockwatcher, then she would know this), then the hourly fee should suffice, unless he wants to volunteer a tip, that is his call, not hers. If they are "going at it" the entire time to obtain the primary objective of the session and she does not stop in the middle to use the restroom, take forever getting a drink or take a call during the session and the session goes over the allotted time, then it should not be a "requirement" of the provider to ask for a tip, (unless it is well over 15 minutes), but if a hobbyist does not tip because he overstayed his visit due to the ultimate goal not being achieved in the appropriate time, then the next time she sees him, she should try her best to get him to "unload" early and cut the session short. The time it takes to take a rinse off shower, if provided, and getting dressed, nor the chatting before activities should not constitute BCD session time, IMO.

I definitely agree with the above posts. I would be interested to see what providers think. Although, I can see why they might now want to reply, due to potential clients getting the wrong idea.

Providers will say something to the effect that time is what the client is paying for, and that is true, legally speaking, but we all know the real answer as far as what clients are paying for, that is why you have most providers that upsell for Greek, PSE or whatever cuz if it clients were just paying for "time" then the all services would be inclusive that could be done in the timeframe.

No hobbyist in their right mind would knowingly pay for time and time alone, a client pays for "activities" with a provider, be it BCD, going to dinner or an event, ect. so that is why the "get to know you" chat as well as chat after the actual session should be off the clock.

So basically, what you're saying is; it depends on the situation. I agree, for the most part, and I am always willing to be as accommodating as possible. If it's five or ten minutes, though, and she doesn't seem concerned about it, I will usually let it go. After all, we have all had hour sessions that lasted 45 minutes that we never made an issue of. Any longer than that and I would fully expect to compensate her.
And Zx, I can't speak for all, but if it takes me longer to "unload" than I want, I start feeling self-conscientious, not lucky.

What I mean is I think it might be difficult for providers to publicly state that they believe if you go over by 10-15 minutes you should leave a nice tip. Also, if a providers states that 10-15 minutes are no big deal then how many of us hobbyist would take advantage of that?

I don't worry about minor amounts of time over or above the scheduled time, particularly if she's not watching the clock. I make it a point to have her want me to be there and actually enjoy my time there so it's never been an issue anyway. That being said, I am in my early 30s and have always been hit or miss on finishing anyway. Normally I don't care, I am generally aware ahead of time whether it's going to happen or not and admit to her as much. It's not that anythings Wong, it's just not my day for it and am perfectly content leaving without finishing but knowing I left an impression anyway.

If it were ever to be brought up that I am "out of time" I would go ahead and leave, the moments gone at that point. I also won't be back. That's never happend though, I know how to see myself out the door without you saying it.

As long as a guy sees a provider on a consistent basis, and he does not take advantage by continually going over every time, then it should be ok. I am sure guys will take advantage, especially those guys that have had one pop already and trying for the second, unless he tips, I have somewhat answered that in my first post of this thread, but keep in mind, that extra 10 minutes should be as he is walking out the door, not getting off the bed and getting dressed. Now if a provider is seeing guys back to back with no time in between, or she wants to get back to watching her movie she was viewing before you interrupted her by setting an appointment, then there is a big problem with the time extending a few minutes after the hour.

If a guy cannot get that first pop within the time allotted then it is one of two things: he either is a stud who regularly goes hours with his SO before he pops, or the provider is not worth a shit as far as her skills go. Well, a third reason is maybe he has ED and the little blue pill works as far as getting him erect, maybe he just wants to cardio work because he does not want to do jumping jacks at home that morning

I've had guys go over due to that and even though I am not a clockwatcher, more than half do not compensate for the extra time used for me to complete the project. It's annoying, but what can ya do?

Are we talking about 5 minutes, or 30 minutes?

I remember a certain young lady here (At my age, all the ladies are young) who basically had a 15 minute policy. She was a sweetheart, and too many guys were taking advantage of her. After 15 minutes, she expected compensation or she moved them to her DNS list or at least to a low priority to schedule list.

I think if play time goes over a tip should be involved. 5-10 min of play time turns into 20-25 min to walk out the door. I agree with BD if you are a regular (couple times a month) it shouldn't be a big deal. That being said, If I go over I either tip or make it up next time. I want to keep her happy. She is happy = Me happy +100

ps. Alyssa I love when you post just so I get a chance to see your animation.

I agree, how long you went over is important. I don't sweat 10 mins...but 20 mins? Uncool.

Well, there are other instances beyond these two (and probably more likely than either), but let's leave that at that, shall we? I reserve the right to claim the first, studly option and ignore any other options that may exist.

Back on topic, I'm always very conscious about the timeframe for an appointment I schedule since 1) I have a hobby budget to stick to 2) I never want a provider to think I'm disrespecting her by overstaying my welcome. I've really only had one bad instance of clock watching and I blame myself for TOFTT in that case (stupid BP). Given the nature of the hobby, there has to be some mutual respect there from both parties or the whole dang opera falls apart. I think the providers have given some very sound advice to follow and, as a hobbyist, a little respect will keep everything working smoothly. And if not, I continue to claim the first, studly option.

The advice from providers on ECCIE seems to be the one redeeming quality of the Coed Discussions. Otherwise, I might have to dip into the hobby budget for more popcorn.
