Believe it or not, I've never been to Chris Madrid's in all my years in San Antonio. I heard it was a great restaurant, matched by an equally-loved owner.

It was a great place to eat. Haven't been there in a long time but the food was always good. He opened it when he was about 18 or 20 years old. Hope someone keeps it going ... he will be missed.
