Ethnicity & Preference

In high school, I had a crush on the valedictorian who was a brunette of Italian decent. During my years in college, my friends kept teasing me that I had a thing for blondes. Although I could never disprove them, they never believed that I ever had a crush on a brunette. Nowadays, I am attracted to women of all ethnicity and hair color.

Regardless of all that, if there existed two women who are identical in every way but ethnicity (e.g., one East Indian and the other not), I would immediately have eyes for the East Indian.

Do others have an innate attraction toward their own ethnicity over others? Or if you bumped into a woman who looked like Aishwarya Rai, you would choose her regardless of your ethnicity?

Yes, I do have innate attraction towards girls of my own ethnicity. Simply because it is much easier to relate and connect. The chances of clicking are much better when the girl is of your ethnicity. Having said that there is always this exotic factor that attracts me towards some of other races as well.

My preference would be asian or oriental ladies. My favortie was a beautiful Thai lady, 2nd favorite a cute little Filipina lady, 3rd favorite would be some of the beautiful Korean ladies right here in Dallas. However, some of the latina ladies here in Dallas are equally stunning. Heck, a good lucking redhead or even a pretty blonde gets me excited. Oh forget it, I like them all.

Don't know if this is goin off the subject, but, growing up on the southside of Chicago, it was a true "melting pot" I found girls with different accents a huge turn-on, those gorgeous Irish and Polish and esp those Scottish gals always got my attention.........sigh........ Sweet home Chicago!

There's a definite attraction to those who are different. Variety is the spice of life. Forbidden fruit. You may also notice someone who stands out from what you see every day.

Evolution probably pushes us towards mating with a partner who is different from us because it reduces inbreeding. I remember reading about Polynesians making a point of having children with visitors from other islands because of the problem of inbreeding among the population on small islands.

On the other hand, tribal society tends to conformity. Family and neighbors tend to get along better with someone from the same tribe.

Evolution may tend to make us be more kindly disposed towards other people's children who share a lot of the same genes.

Very much attracted to Asian women of all sorts, but there is just something about a particularly attractive Indian woman. But there isn't any ethnicity that I'm not attracted to.

Ethnicity does not bother me at all. Do I have a preference? Yes, I find myself seeing a certain type of provider and even attracted to that same type of woman in the civilian world. However, I wouldn't turn down an attractive woman because of her ethnicity.
