Photographers on ECCIE

[Through My Eyes]

Since know there are several of us on here all competing for business with the ladies of ECCIE, I've decided to start this thread.

I say we each comment on it, introduce ourselves (name, location), post 4-6 examples of our work along with our contact info (phone/email/website).

This way the girls have one place to see us all and let the work decide who they contact. Notice I didnt mention price? So please do not post rates.

If you agree this would be a good idea for us as well as them, then please start adding your info! I'll be back on here later to add mine.

NOTE~ Once this thread leaves the front page, whoever notices can simply bump it to the top by adding a comment or an image from new work. This way they really no longer need to post asking for shooters but can simply hit this thread to find a provider friendly photographer in her area.

Great idea, but also, if you photographers would - please note your location, if you tour, and if you will only photograph a certain type of provider based on age, weight, or other restrictions. This will save the providers a lot of time contacting photographers who would not photograph us based on not meeting their requirements.

I have been shooting providers for several years and know what you need to maintain your image for your clients.

You recieve the entire shoot minus test shots, ready for the web within 24 hours. Images are lightly edited to keep them as natural as possible.

Houston Based Photographer here.

I have my own studio to do indoor and outdoor shots in an urban setting.

To be honest, this would be a new type of photography for me. I have studio experience, but mostly for high end fashion and runway. I also have experience shooting vintage pin-up photography. My pricing will reflect my inexperience in this as I don't feel it would be right to charge my full studio rates.

My style is pretty minimal. I like simple backgrounds so the model is the subject. The exception is large scale like my RR, aircraft and outdoor shots.

I will work with anyone, but recognize that it takes two to make art. I see the shoot as a collaboration with the model. Those who think they are not photogenic just have not worked with the right photographer. I do try to show off each models style and assets (all the puns you can think of intended!). I will gladly hide any portion of her in composing shots and do minimal editing; crop, fix bruises and blemishes, adjust lighting and contrast a bit. But please do not ask me to make you fat or skinny. I start each session with a quick test shoot and will pause again after the first outfit to review images with the model.

May we each find the best in each other and create ever better art, and showcases!

I would just like to know if you are willing to work with any type of provider, that would be helpful to some of us. There was a thread a while back that stated they were only looking for a specific weight and age range.

Knowing what I'm looking for in a photographer - I would prefer someone who isn't afraid to photograph a BBW, or someone who has experience photographing more curvier or plus-sized women. That is helpful to me.

I'm not sure if this is a normal thing for photographers, but I would never ask for my pics to look thinner or whatever. I am who I am. I prefer to look like me (with the exception of a wig). I would ask that a certain tattoo be pixelated, but there again, I can do that myself with my software if a photographer is not comfortable doing that.

I should probably just post an ISO again, but I like the thought of this thread and looking at the work put in.

So far I have found one photographer that I have worked with and had a blast with and he was not afraid to take photos of me. They turned out awesome too. My first photography session a couple years ago almost made me never want to take photos again, but my 2nd experience was awesome.

Anyway, it's nice to have a variety like Iaintlein said and I love to have different perspectives through different eyes.

I love the way you think. The point is having fun and feeling beautiful. And before there are ever any edits made, you can look at the pics on the display menu and you're like.. "OMFG THOSE ARE AWESOME". That's how I was with my last photo shoot. I felt so utterly beautiful. The light brought out my skin and all the other colors of me. It almost brought me to tears, because all I had before was my horrible, stiff experience from a year before that. That's what I'm looking for. Pure nirvana. You explained it exactly the way I felt. It gives you butterflies.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts as someone looking for a wonderful photographer that I can hire regularly.
