Retiring

Now I know what you're thinking and, no, I'm not putting winter treads on my car.

I'm leaving the site. It has been something I had been considering for quite some time now. I had planned to do it in June but, instead, opted to step up the timeline. Unlike the ladies who post such things, I won't be coming back after a week saying, "Just kidding, I miss everything so much!"

I wrote the owners of the site and told them that I will be staying on as moderator for the site until Feb. 10th, at which time I will no longer be a moderator and will also have my account disabled. In the time which remains, I will continue my duties as a moderator, to the best of my ability, while looking for a reasonable replacement to get them up to speed on current events, issues and the ins and outs of the assignment.
