There are different web browsers for each phone type that you can use that will keep the full version of the site on your phone..... I have an android and I use Skyfire (which is free on the android market). I will get the other programs for the other phones and post back here shortly......

Ok...... here are some more.....
Android - Skyfire (as listed above)
iPhones -Atomic Web (From App store)
Blacckberry users: http://wapreview.mobi/6775/
There should be a link at the very bottom of the page as well "Full Site" that may be a fix for you there also.....
Hope that helps.....

I use 2 different browsers now eccie forces me to have yet another damn beowser on my phone. It sounds to me like instead of using a different browser it would be better to leave it the way it was which worked on everything. But I do appreciate the info regardless.

The mobile site takes some getting used to, but I actually like it better while on the phone...... I have to switch browsers when I need to use my Mod tools for now, but for quick stuff and browsing it is much faster and easier to navigate without having to zoom in & out and wait for all the other stuff to load...... but that's just me I suppose.....

Well, (**SCREAMING**) I HATE IT! I downloaded Atomic Web, chose the non-mobile version option, and Eccie mobile still pops up!! When I choose "full site" mode at the bottom, it takes me to the national forums...on the mobile site.

the full site is www.eccie.net
the mobile site is m.eccie.net
are you saying that your browser shows www.eccie.net but you are still showing the mobile version. if so, definitely a problem. you should have a choice, and it should be easy to go back and forth.

PS. Feel free to berate me in your reply. I'm a big boy and I can handle it.

Yes when you take out the m it still goes mobile, and if you select full site at bottom its still mobile. I won't rake you over the coals, but please do try and fix it.

I liked the mobile site with one exception. Everytime I tried a keyword search while in the H-Town forums, it gave me results for all the forums. Anyone else have this issue? Did I do something wrong?
