but in the end, I thought it best to share.

I have it from someone, who I consider very reliable, that a LE said he was enjoying "poking the hornet's nest" on hobby boards.

Now, I don't know what board it was being referred to, who the LE's handle might be, or if LE was just talking shit.

But I decided to post this just as a reminder that people are not always whom they seem to be. And that a lot of what you real is just plain cow dung.

Eh of course there are cops on the board. Why wouldn't there be? But there is only so much they can do.

Oh and a high post count is not a valid reference lol. Neither is "knowing" another hobbyist. So regardless of how much shit they try to stir up, they can't pass screening.

My post was not to alert people that there were cops on the board, but that they now seem to enjoy causing shit. The probably have done so in the past - just wanted to share that there was one currently bragging about it.

Not to offer offense Lilianna, but if LE truly desires to, they will pass your screening (or any of our collective screening processes) at any time they may like . . . They control identities they have seized through arrests and through social engineering that are undetectable, they just don't "burn" those accounts for just any collar, so they hold them in reserve to use when they believe there are robberies, drugs or violence in play. They will walk through any screening with ease and to think otherwise is folly . . . run a clean business, keep out of the way of any chargeable felony and maybe they'll look the other way - but eventually, if they want you bad enough, they will get what they want (even going so far as to engage in sexual activity during the first visit and arresting you on the second - this has happened in KCK more than once).

LE is on the board, they have been since the days of Gabby's BBS in KC, and even when they are not, they make it point to tell ladies they have recently netted that they are in fact active on the boards . . . they enjoy disinformation as much as they enjoy being paid to directly maintain a board presence . . . And, when I say "enjoy", I don't mean anything other than that they enjoy doing their job well (as we ladies know, many LEOs, even in Vice, dislike disrupting this endeavor when it is kept "clean" and run well).

For a long time after the demise of ASPD, LE was posting here under handles they had made that matched respected handles on the defunct board - and they still post using some of them to this very day.

There are many handles that have been revealed in the past to be LE and they have been some of the largest "instigators" of controversial discussions here on ECCIE and other boards . . . the controversial nature of their postings and the disruption helps obfuscate their true identity when approaching ladies that might not see them for what they are . . .

Another to watch for is when you receive a PM - pay close attention to the sender's name. In the past there have been PMs sent out with a very similar used name, so as to make you think the PM is from someone you know.

For instance (example only) say you know SillyGirl, perhaps they will send out a PM under the name of SillyGirll.

It's not rocket science. Number one, if LE REALLY wants you...they're going to get you. The question is "Why would they want you?" Yes, they're going to run stings from time to time and net guys and gals. But as far as targeting someone specific to take them down....that's a lot of resources and ID's to be burned for a misdemeanor charge.

It's actually fairly simple. They're like many other businesses, they want to use the fewest resources to get the most return on their investments. Usually that means setting up a situation where they net multiple offenders in one session. But if they're going to go after one person, it's because they want something else! If it involves trafficing, underage, drugs, guns or anything else that can REALLY make the headlines, then they're all over it. And agencies are a better target. Again, more "charges" for the effort. But to use a handle to set up a date to get one girl or guy....not likely unless you pissed one of them off!

Just keep it all in perspective guys. It's not illegal for you to have sex with someone (except in a few counties in W. KS). And it's not illegal to give someone money. It's only illegal if you give someone money specifically for sex. That's harder to prove than you might imagine unless they control the entire scene. Which is why a girl is MUCH more likely to get popped on going to a guy's "place" and a guy is much more likely to get popped going to an Incall. Just keep your guard up, your head down and barring bad luck, you should be fine.

Now if you show up at a girls Incall with drugs in your pocket, carrying a weapon without a permit and your license in your pocket....well, sucks to be you!
