showcase popup vs redirect? is it my browser?
This isn't exactly a 'new' problem for me, I've just not taken the time to inquire. So I use IE 8, and I used to be able to click on one of the home page featured showcases (either the large previews in the upper banner area or even the new member thumbnails on the left pane), and it would launch a new browser with the showcase I clicked.
This feature was particularly handy if I wanted to preview multiple showcases, as I would click the first one, get the new window pop, click a couple of others in my current browser, and they'd all push to the same new browser, and then I could hit back and peruse the various showcases without losing my place in whatever forum I'm reading.
Anyway, for a while now, clicking on showcases no longer spawns a new page, but instead redirects in the same browser instance. Was this a change in page coding or did my browser stop doing something?
