Look for the "authorities" to put pressure on BP to stop having adult services ads. Just like CL, another possible resource about to be dried up.

My thoughts exactly. I just saw this story on the news. I really feel this is a tragedy of epic proportions. I truly worry about the providers Ive encountered & always mention they be careful. Leave it to some psycho to screw up it up. I wouldnt doubt BP drops the entire "adult" section in fear of the media exposure.

Backpage makes more money on their Adult ads than any other part of their site so I feel confident they will resist any demands to close it down.
What BP will do is hand over any and all IP addresses that have sent email through the site but that is most likely not productive for finding the killers.
These cases are just the tip of the iceberg illustrating the true dangers many prostitutes face every day.
The really sad truth is that just because we don't hear about it much, if at all, there are plenty of dangers even to those providers who only use boards such as ECCIE.
An ECCIE provider from Dallas went to see a regular. He tied her up, raped her over and over telling her he was going to commit suicide. She finally was let go and yes, he did commit suicide. She was very lucky that he didn't kill her also.
FemaleHobbyist just recently had the shit beaten out of her by a client and she also only advertises here on ECCIE.
NEVER assume this only happens to those who advertise on CL or Backpage.

I have to agree FNF always go with your gut even after in your case verifying the lady & in my case screening. Sometimes you just get that intuition of things, it sometimes don't make sense but I have learned not to ignore it. Usually it never goes well.

The world is a crazy place which Is why i take steps to prevent the cranes. Not everything is 100% full proof but screening and double checking everything is makes me feel much safer plus my gut feelings have never failed me.

Reading things like this--and I agree it is only the tip of the iceberg--is why it angers me when I read guys who claim screening is an invasion of their privacy. Or the fact that they are an ECCIE member should be all a lady needs to know. The ladies in this business take a far greater portion of the risk and cooperating with screening is in everyone's best interest. It ain't perfect but it's a whole lot better than "Trust me, I'm a safe guy".
