not understanding

I had a hobbyist call me for an outcall and he asked if I could be there in an hour and I said okay. Jumped in the shower (30 minutes) then with the last 30 minutes I was calling every cab in the area to see how much it would be to the hobbyists hotel. He texted me to see what was going on and I explained that I was STILL calling cabs and they are all trying to charge me way more than I would like to pay. He then started threatening me that he was going to put a bad review about me on ECCIE. I felt that he was immature to immediately threaten me instead of being understanding and honestly I am an EXCELLENT provider and do not feel as if I should be threatened about this situation. Mind you I have been a provider for 4 years and never had any problems before, everyone has always been understanding. Any comments on this???

And honestly with that type of attitude I am thankful I did not go because anything could have happened and I understand I am already risking my life but not for someone who has an extremely bad attitude.

It sounds like the individual was being a tool! But if we agree to a specific time, I would ask that you let me know if you were running late so that I could decide if I wanted to go through with our appt.

Things happen and the way you have described the situation he needs to lighten up. Remember though that your reviews will speak for you and one negative, particularly for those that have read the positives, wont be that detrimental!

Negative reviews never influence my decision to see a girl or not unless every single review of them is negative. Some people have an attitude where if they don't get everything exactly the way the way they want it, they go ballistic. I take a more lax approach and always plan with the unexpected in mind.

first off..hey girl!! ..

now...you shoudnt worry about guys like this..they are not the kind you want to deal with..also..you have been around for a while..1 bad review will neither break you or make you..believe that..

if this guy is already threatening you with a bad review and you havent even arrived as of yet..then its a good thing not to see him at all..put him on your naughty list and roll on like the classy chic you are and dont even give it a second thought..that isnt the type of guy you want to see..he will be a very difficult person and try to push the lines you have set for yourself and your biz during the visit itself...

and also..Im a taxi gal as well...for when you do outcalls and you need a taxi..schedule an outcall but let the client know you need at least 90 minutes to get there..thats give you time to get ready..flag the cab and drive time..

the good guys will understand and be down with the whole situation...

I never met you and don't know you, but if you said you could be there in an hour and then don't start calling for cabs until 30 minutes before you needed to be there, imho you should have booked the cab, called him back with when you would arrive and then take the shower and get readyfor when the cab arrives. Plus if you travel by cab all the time, rates should be known and cab company's easy to book. I'm not familiar with the cab world but maybe Anita who is could chime in. I know there are always two sides to every story and I'm not taking his side especially if he reacted like you said, but rather stating what I think is obvious and something to learn from. We always talk about bad/good vs great tcob skills.

I agree with your comments. Destiny should have told the caller that she is dependent on a taxi, and ask for 90 minutes- THEN FIRST make contact with the taxi company to arrange a pickup and get rates. There are not that many taxi companies in Albany, and some are more responsive than others . She should get rates in advance so that will not be an issue in her planning.
