Dear newbie lurker guys, please take my advice and your hobby life will be much more pleasant. New providers, take notes!

Read the ad before asking stupid questions like "how much?".
If a provider states that she requires a screening, be prepared to answer some questions... Come on! Bo Smith isn't your real name and I don't give a crap if you offer to show-your I'd when I arrive. I want to know I am safe before I get there. Fake Ids are easy to come by. Don't lie to me, I'm not stupid. There are plenty of dumbasses out there, I am not one.

Screening is not only for my safety but yours. If you are hesitant about giving personal info to a provider, join p411. If you have made it as far as this board, you should understand the importance of screening.

Ladies who dont screen are putting themselves and hobbyists in danger. Guys who don't want to cooperate can't possibly have good intentions.

Ladies, if a guy blatantly lies in the screening process, is that alert worthy? I've never posted alerts on guys who dont pass screening.

I've been around for a while and where hobbyist and providers both shade the truth I have never had a reputable lady abuse screening information
And I don't blame her at all for protecting herself ..... When a lady is with a man she is at the most vulnerable place she can be .... Naked, on her back , pinned under someone she needs to trust

Thx, Heidi for the info. I do not give out my personal info and I have had ladies refuse to see me. To me that is just fine, I have to feel safe as well as the lady does. I gave my personal info to the first lady I ever saw and then never again. I had her for a reference and she was a reputable lady so I was in. But I have had a lady request work numbers, etc. - nope not gonna happen. But if I were a newbie I would have to find a lady that appearred trustworthy and give up the info to be in - that simple. Once you have refernces and get some experience then make up your own mind.

One hint, I do not lie in the screening process. I do not give much info but I do not lie. Nothing wrong with me telling a lady I do not know you and I am uncomfortable with giving you my last name, then it is up to her to decide. No session is worth me being uncomfortable about my info floating around, just me.

I think screening is one of the most important aspects of the hobby, both for the providers and the gents. Just as Heidi mentioned, the providers have to be comfortable that you are safe and a good match for her. Providers use different screening methods, and us guys have the decision to make whether we will honor their screening requests. Some ladies are quite lax (to the point of being nonexistant), some ladies are extreme (to the point of wanting your full name, address and phone number). Most are in the middle.

For the guys, it is just as important to screen for two reasons: First, to verify the girl is safe and the chance of getting busted is minimal. Second, to make sure (as much as possible) that the provider is a good match for you. This goes into her personality, services, rates, etc etc etc. I guess you could consider this being basic research, but I consider it my own screening.

To me, being safe is every bit as important as having fun. I hope this thread continues with some good dialogue because it is a crucial aspect to the hobby.

Outdoorsman I agree with you for the most part at this stage of the hobby for me .... and I only see reputable ladies ......
But newbies seeing a reputable lady with no references are gonna have to give up some information or stay with backpage imho

ditto....Just because someone has a p411 means zilch...he will need reputable provider oks or he will have to "give pertinent info" to make a gal feel safe If he does not want to do that,then feel free to gamble with BP!

Also a reputable provider will not tell you "I can be there in 10 minutes".....{unless you are a regular or prescreened}

a reputable guy will NOT expect a gal to go 1 or 2 star crappy hotel...unless he is a good regular and it's been pre-agreed to

a reputable client will always appreciate a gal's concern for safety...therefore ensuring his safety too!

a reputable girl will call more than ONE of a guys p411 okays to try to find some info that the guy you are talking to REALLY owns that account

and a reputable provider will be aware of alerts and potentially know bad clients........I always encourage a new girl to pm me for help!

We are all in this together and do what as much as possible to keep each other safe

Really, at some point I'm sure you don't get asked for references anymore. I don't care about your personal info if you have another way to be verified. Stick to the topic outdoorsman, this is about screening newbies, lol. Hehe

Out baby....If you were to pm me for an appt at 10am monday,that would be a done deal because you have done what is necessary by paying your dues to establish yourself as a trustworthy & reliable hobbyist.............and as a professional it is my job to know that! In turn,I feel as though i have paid my dues to establish myself as a trustworthy & reliable provider and do not feel as though I should have to dilly dally with a newbie or someone who is not yet established to get that pertinent info to screen them { making us both feel safe}
I think they should be able to see my reviews & posts and feel a trust that allows them to give the info needed!

I see a lot of girls put it in their ads in there profile and on their web sites that they ate not "newbie friendly"

They tell you to not even contact then unless you have references a basic+2 etc member of P411 Datecheck etc.

That would help keep the idiots from bothering y'all ?

I AM newbie friendly and I happen to enjoy some newbies. They haven't been tainted by the local boy's club yet.

I saw "newbie lurker guys" and said to myself, "hey heidi made a thread about me, cool" lol. some good info and advice in this thread, will definately remember. I have wondered one thing though, mainly, what information would be needed for verification? it's kinda hard to have that info handy if i don't know what it is. I remember reading on some ladies info that they may require work information for screening. Can some of you kind ladies please give some examples of questions you may ask or have heard your friends use in the screening process?
What other screening would you require if the guy is retired and has no "current" job information? i have wondered about some of these things for awhile and this thread seems like the right place to ask. any insight would be appreciated, thank you.

Each girl may have a different "newbie" requirement. I will require some personal information that you would know off the top of your head. If you can't oblige, I will just pass on the date. I am not going to say exactly what I do ask for because that would just be a free pass for someone with bad intentions, lol. I promise it isn't your driver's license or ss#! Id's can be faked so easily.
