What if it's a co-op of gals that look out after each other, do reference checks for each other, co-incidentally are at same hotel same time, or alternate a shared room, and that type of stuff.

Could easily be mistaken for pimping.

To me that's far and in between. I have not seen independents sharing phone numbers.
I have seen some HDH that are pimped too.
Which I was very surprised.
Stranger things have happened.
I will say the most important thing is to be safe and if something doesn't sound right. Don't do it.

Managed to me is different. There are many agency that have a great reputation that I've had a lot of fun in. Especially the Asian AMPs in San Jose/Dallas. Or the Latin Agencies in Houston.
