Fresh handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and a Bolognese that hits just right. The Strozzapreti with chicken and roasted mushrooms is stupid good. It’s consistent, stylish, and always packed. Not exactly a hidden gem, but you won’t regret it.
Andiamo Ristorante (2521 Rutland Dr #325) is the cozy, authentic sleeper hit. Hidden in a random strip mall like most of Austin’s best food, but the moment you walk in, it feels like Nonna’s house. House-made pasta, legit sausage, and a Tiramisu that should probably be illegal. It’s warm, honest, and doesn’t try too hard.
Siena Ristorante Toscana (6203 N Capital of Texas Hwy) is your move when you're trying to impress. Think stone walls, Tuscan vibes, and a wine list that’ll make you feel classy even if you showed up in flip-flops. Chef Harvey Harris actually cooked in Italy, and it shows. Get the Wild Boar Ragu and thank me later.
