You've been cheering for higher prices for Americans. And Canadians. And Mexicans. Now Chinese.
Bloodthirsty trade wars help no one in the long run.
Some folks just want to watch the world burn and all the gold and silver in the world won't save them

Blame the Chinese now Mr Gristle. They’re just giving Canada a taste of their own medicine. It has nothing to do with cheering on anything but FAIR trade. You’re wrong again Mr Gristle. The wrong side of history.

Exactly! There shouldn’t be tariffs. By any country. Let the best product win. The US has been abused with tariffs by other countries but Trumps the bad guy when he fights back. Canada is no angel when it comes to tarriffs
https://checkyourfact.com/2018/06/11...-tariff-dairy/
Imagine that, even a fact checker backs up Trumps claims against Canada. But hey, I own 450 Canadian silver Maples. I’m set when they become our 51st state!

Fair trade isn't necessarily equal trade. Free and equitable is ideal.
I can't say that Trump and want the same things because his position changes faster than Taylor Swift between songs

It dawned on me that you don't recognize the difference between how Canada addresses tariffs vs other approaches

China's signal to Canada is clear. The "own medicine" part is the giveaway that you think it's a tit for tat.

If you say so!
It dawned on me a long time ago that you have no clue what you’re talking about. Certainly not the motives of countries tariff strategies.

Bambino, you state out-invent everyone else, that’s capitalism which I’m a huge fan of. For capitalism to work, you can’t just hand corp free money w tax cut after tax cuts, can’t reward bad behavior when these corporations spend most their found cash on bonuses and stock share buybacks and when something bad happens? Taxpayers money to bail them out no questions truly asked. This trade war premises being able to level playing fields out? There are certain products and countries this is true with but there are beneficial trade w products that benefits both countries. Why in the hell is idiot tariffing lumber from Canada (our friendliest and closest ally) when they have an abundance of it vs domestically ramping up lumber when we don’t have an abundance (unless chopping down Forrest all over the country and screw up everything good w this country)…this is plain idiocy. Crops grown in USA and sent to Canada via climate ect is huge advantage for both countries…countries are more efficient and have strengths at different things, that they are cheaper because of this shouldn’t be seen as a threat to US.
Christ, my brakes started squeaking and I’m not savvy so I took it to my mechanic as he knows what he’s doing and gets it done efficiently and correctly w out destroying anything else…cost me money but that same mechanic calls me up for taxes and pays me as he knows I’m more efficient at this. Could he do his own taxes and take a week trying to figure it out? Could I try and do my own brakes and take a day or more figuring it out? Sure and we wouldn’t have to pay each other but what an inefficient way to run a life not alone country doing stupid shit like this.
The need for tariffs should be very limited in scope regarding prey, national security….not jacking every product even if it’s the stupidest thing one could do just because you can.

Connect the dots, Bam.
Look at what was targeted. Go back to Aug and Sep for the pretext and why they only just pulled the trigger now. Then think about how those tariffs signal not to play ball with Trumpybear.
You should get there eventually... mebbe
