Operative words are to follow the law, Chase.

You're mixing together a fairness argument that weaves in multiple types of support, drawn from different buckets, for different purposes and under different legal appropriations processes.

The Trump rule is supposed to backstop existing law. If it disadvantages or harms a U.S. citizen that is part of a mixed status family, then we'll watch this play out in court.

Just make sure you're properly identifying who is and isn't "illegal"
