Legislation changed recently 2019/2021 to make it a felony. But yeah, messages & the convo showing your intentions are enough now. This is the penal code,Texas Penal Code § 43.02.

They've been running those ops in rgv since around November and making a big deal about it on the news. Seems like alot of tax $ wasted on caring about adults meeting up. Yet to see human traffickers taken down which is what that stuff is for, all avg Joe's just trying to entertain themselves.
