Why am I running into providers who want to charge clients for references???
I have recently run into this issue when needing or requesting verification for recent clients I have never seen. Since when did charging a hobbiest for a references request become a thing??? I am sorry it is NOT that hard to look to see if you have seen a client when all the information is given to you in a text, pm, or email. This is not like requesting your medical records to be released from your doctor..smh!!
Has anyone else had this issue???
Xoxo,
Jessica

No surprise here, Jessica. More nonsense in the "hobby." Let it continue to decrease into nothing. Also, I heard you're in the top three women list right now in DFW. Keep up the good service. ^___^

Upselling is the norm for providers today, and this is one more thing they can upsell from their donation.
The days of all inclusive donations are basically over.

Omg, I have to agree with WEC.
I'll bet the other gals say cause it takes time to respond to a reference request. This is not the 1st time I've heard about this

I've heard of it in the past. I'm curious how that's supposed to work.
Hobbyist says "I've seen Mary123."
Provider reaches out to Mary123, Mary says she needs money from Hobbyist to give a reference?
WTF?!
That being said, sounds shady as hell to me. This is about mutual safety, and you gonna fuckin charge for it? I say name the providers telling you they need the hobbyist to pay for a reference.

Heck you don't even have to ask me if you can use me as your refes.
I'll give out refes for anyone I have seen for free.
